3 Terms to Know Part 1 Crimes: CPO District:
Aggravated assault, forcible rape, murder, arson, burglary, larceny-theft, and motor vehicle theft CPO District: A designated section of the city that has a specified, assigned community police officer

4 City of Saginaw’s CPO Initiative
CPOs are: Police officers that utilize a more proactive approach to mitigating crime (e.g. school visits, consistent community engagement) The CPO program origins: Prior to 2005 CPO Districts Houghton-Jones Cathedral Merrill Park 2008 – Covenant District was added 2009 – City received the COPs Hiring Grant Adams Blvd. Northmoor Northeast Old Town Saginaw HS
