2. What is an R-2000 Home? Canadian invention with worldwide applications
Must meet rigorous efficiency requirements (40% above code)
Purely voluntary participation
Applications in both new and old houses

3. Criteria To be R-2000 a home must:
Be built by a licensed R-2000 builder
Use approximately 30% less energy
Meet at least 3 section A and 2 section B pick-list requirements
Include the use of ultra low-flow water usage devices
Pass Inspection

Ensures the design will help humanity and the environment
