NC no.1 (critical):
In all of the 4 checked recertifications a documented verification whether a stage 1 audit would have been appropriate could not be presented. This occurred also in the case of certificate transfer. (already addressed)
NC no. 2 (critical):
For none of the 4 recertifications a current customer information exist. As a rule no comprehensive environmental data were available for a traceable quotation. Even for initial certifications appropriate EMS data and information could not be presented.
NC no. 3 (critical):
Reductions of the total number of employees occured in some cases without plausible justification or according to technically wrong reasons.
NC no.4 (critical):
A. With only few exceptions in all of the 12 verified projects no sufficient data and facts related to EMS and/or environmental complexity were evident in the audit documentation.
B. In one certification occurred that 4 auditors without the necessary scope worked together with (only) one technical expert ( this was evaluated as inadequate).

Summary of corrections and corrective actions (partly still ongoing):
Clarification: (Only) up to 2 auditors without the relevant scope may work together with one TE; if more auditors assigned in the audit team a 2nd TE shall be invited
Annex 2 to the audit report now requires definitely quantitative information for the 3 most significant environmental aspects
More stringent rules for the reduction of the total number of employees in the calculation guideline (e.g. more precise definition what low complexity activities are)
For certificate transfer and recertifications a „check box“ will be implemented regarding the necessity of stage 1 (as evidence for documented verification by the CB/auditor)
new rules implemented for filing the relevant custormer information in iCert
