2 Outline Overall MOC-SOC Testing approach Instrument Test Campaign
Inputs Required Conclusions

3 Overall Testing Approach by MOC
Objective: demonstrate MOC can support operations Test campaign from L-3 yrs to L-5 months. Increasing scope and complexity Engineering Acceptance-> SW Acceptance -> Interface Tests -> Operations Validation Instruments tests will be part of Interface Test Campaign (SVTs) and Operations Validation.

4 Operation Validation Campaign
Tests In the SOV campaign involving Instruments: Date Test Objective L – 10 months DDS Test Test Instrument TM & Command Request transfer capability L – 9 months MOC Interface Test Systematic verification of all file exchange (PDOR, MDOR) L – 6 months In-Situ Operations E2E Processing of a realistic Cruise STP data set. Instruments submit to SOC, and SOC to MOC. Checkout Window E2E Same as above, but including RS operations for a checkout window.

5 SVT Campaign SVT Tests are run on the PFM, including Instrument FMs.
Emphasis during SVTs is on verifying HW commands and functionality as far as possible. Tests In the SVT campaign involving Instruments: Date Test Objective Jan/2018 SVT 1a Systematic test of the Instruments’ FOP procedures (adapted for running on ground). June/2018 SVT 2 Re-test of any anomalies found during SVT-1a

6 Inputs Required Due Date Test Instrument input Jan/2017 SVT
First Instrument FOP inputs for Flight. Oct/2017 Final Instrument FOP inputs for Flight. ??/2017 IOR w/ SOC IORs for SOC delivery Dec/2017 DDS Test w/ MOC Data Retrievals from EDDS Jan/2018 Command Test w/ MOC PDORs and MDORs Feb-Mar/2018 IS E2E In-situ consistent IORs set for STP Checkout Window E2E Remote-sensing consistent checkout IORs for STP

7 Conclusion ESOC is awaiting FOP inputs as agreed at Instrument Commanding Workshop in Sept/2016. So far, a grand total of 0 procedures by 0 Instrument Teams has been received. We seem to be running behind schedule.

8 Q&A ESOC is always happy to help and support! (On-line and off-line) Any Questions?
