Create a personal introduction to share with your classmates Using either a document, presentation, or video, create an introduction for yourself. You can be creative with this, but consider these suggestions for what to include in your introduction:

Languages in which you are fluent
Your Picture
Your Industry, Profession, and Title
Your career aspirations
What is your reason for taking this program? What would you like to achieve
Whether you would like to be involved in a study group, and if so, preferences about the group
An interesting fact about yourself
Post your introduction to the Discussion Board When you complete with your introduction, post it to the discussion board

Read or view your classmates’ introductions
Find your classmates with common interests Based on the introductions you read in Step 3, identify a classmate who meets the criteria of each bullet point below:
Find a classmate who is in the same/similar industry.
Find a classmate who is in your same location.
Find a classmate who has a similar reason as you for taking this program.
Find a classmate who shares a similar hobby.
Find a classmate who has a similar preference as you do for study groups.
Classmates with common interests Based on the classmates you identified in Step 4, each classmate to introduce yourself.
Post reflective thoughts onto the discussion board Once you have completed the exercise, post any new insights you have now that you know some of your classmates. If you have learned something about someone that may be helpful to others, mention that in your post.
