4. Key Action 1: credit mobility
International opening of Erasmus
Positive impact on students, staff and institutions: improved skills, recognition, modernisation, internationalisation
Full streamlining of calendar and procedures, management by National Agencies both for incoming and outgoing mobility (Note: in 2014 international mobility will be launched later)
More mobility of students and staff between EU and Partner countries (135,000 mobility flows expected)

5. Key Action 1: degree mobility/joint degrees
Continuation of Erasmus Mundus action 1 (EM joint degrees will continue to be funded until 2017)
Excellent Joint Master courses offered by universities from Europe and in some cases partner countries attracting best students through high level scholarships
Bottom up approach, no limitation on fields covered
Centrally managed
Expected: 34,000 students over 7 years
New Joint Doctorates funded under Marie Skłodowska Curie

2 types of projects with Neighbouring and Enlargement countries, Russia, Asia, Latin America, Africa, Caribbean, Pacific (ACP)
Joint projects: New curricula & degrees, learning and teaching methodologies, staff development, quality assurance, governance, Bologna tools

2. Structural projects: Reforms at national level with support of authorities in Partner Countries (policy modernisation, Bologna policies, governance and management of higher education systems…) + Additional mobility component for ENP and Enlargement countries (without National Agency): students and staff, to and from EU

the creation of a Jean Monnet label
Expected: teaching activities reaching 2,000, students; 500 Projects, 20 networks, 100 associations producing new methodologies, tools and events over 7 years.
