2 Chapter Demographics The Philadelphia Area Chapter Meeting Professionals International (MPI PHL) is a regional professional organization dedicated to serving the diverse needs of meeting professionals. MPI PHL promotes the professional advancement of the meetings industry through a commitment to excellence and by providing our membership with a variety of educational, informational, and networking opportunities. The Philadelphia Area Chapter MPI, was established on June 9, 1978 and is one of the ten largest MPI chapters in the world. PAMPI is roughly 40% suppliers, 57% planners, 3% Students. The majority of our planners are in the pharmaceutical and financial industries, and third party consulting.
