2 SeaTac Noise FAA researched and provided a response document to the “common themes” which arose during the community meeting on November 19, This document provided to the City on February 19, 2016. Attended the Highline Forum on March 23rd at SeaTac Airport. Federal Way will be represented at these regional meetings regarding SeaTac Airport operations and planning Met with FAA Officials on March 31, 2016, 2016 regarding options to address citizen concerns as outlined in the “FAA Responses to Federal Way Community Noise Concerns, February 2016”

Update on the SeaTac Sustainable Airport Master Plan Federal Way representation Request for Federal Way Council presentation Need to explore alternatives SeaTac fastest growing airport in the US FAA Acknowledged different procedures, North and South Changes to current operations requires study (3-5 years) Prioritization of changes (safety) Hiring of consultant Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) Information Gateway Metroplex Request (SoCal, NoCal)

5 SeaTac Noise Summary: Ongoing communication with Federal Way Citizens
Important to advocate for alternatives to the SeaTac Sustainable Airport Master Plan Mayor Ferrell has directed the formation of a Task Force of interested citizens with expertise in airport and FAA regulations and procedures to make recommendations on next steps moving forward
