3 How to run SAS on Linux Full-Screen Mode - Via X-win32 to connect to acs-linux Batch Mode - For advanced users - Any terminal program connect to acs-liunx

4 SAS Full-Screen Mode Three Windows - Program Editor Window (Create/Edit) - Log Window (Log and Error Messages) - Output Window (Analysis Results) Printing Options - Use “Print” under “File” pull-down menu - Saving individual SAS windows then print - Use WinSCP to print locally

5 X-win32 and WinSCP Where to download: X-Win32 - Connect to acs-linux remotely to run SAS in full screen mode WinSCP - Allows you to transfer files between acs-linux and your Windows workstation - Print acs-linux files on your local printer

6 X-Win32 X-Win32 - Current version VPN is not required - Download and install - Save the key - Configure for SAS using Xconfig (done once) - Click on “Autostart” and use the “Wizard” - keywords “sas”, “ssh”,“acs-linux.bu.edu”,”sas” - Create X-Win32 shortcut on desktop - Invoke X-Win32
