Tasks/tests to impact drivers Primary drivers Secondary drivers Numeracy rich environments will be created. Numeracy and maths will be promoted Numeracy and maths will be planned across learning and in real life contexts Learners’ experiences are appropriately challenging and enjoyable and well matched to their needs and interests (2.3) Engaging and enjoyable maths and numeracy experiences will be planned – including learning in the outdoors and games Aim: By June 2017, improve attainment and achievement for all learners. (3.2,1.1,1.2,1.3) To raise attainment and achievement in Numeracy (3.2, 1.1, 1.3) SEAL will be embedded in nursery and extended to P4 Tasks, activities and resources are appropriately differentiated to ensure appropriate pace and challenge for all. (2.4) Professional discussion and reflection – Differentiation Briefing Paper/Numeracy Bundle To meet the needs of all learners through a range of strategies, supports and interventions, (2.4) Staff will engage in professional discussion and reflection Moderation activities within a school framework Quality opportunities for staff to share practice with each other A range of performance data is used Analysis of assessment data Review of current SfL provision/PSA support Effective use of staff and resources to support learning Identification of focus groups/individuals Interventions/support will be planned

Tasks/tests to impact drivers Primary drivers Secondary drivers Pop up libraries, events with parents will be planned, Book Swap will be promoted, the Early Stages library will be updated, increased use of Digital Technologies Reading for Enjoyment will be promoted To raise attainment and achievement in Literacy (3.2, 1.1, 1.3) Approaches to teaching writing will be embedded Collaboration with parents & carers Aim: By June 2017, improve attainment and achievement for all learners. (3.2,1.1,1.2,1.3) Engaging and enjoyable language and literacy experiences will be planned – including learning in the outdoors Learners’ experiences are appropriately challenging and enjoyable and well matched to their needs and interests (2.3) Employability, digital literacy and creativity are emphasised across all areas of learning.
