1925 : Miss Josephine Foss Took over as principal Contributions : Approached the District Officer Mr.Raja Uda Raja Mohamed, resulting in the acquiring of a piece of land : the present premise. With the help from volunteers – the flat , swampy land, full of large holes and tree stumps was drained and a single-storey building of 4 classrooms was built in 1928. A road leading to the school was named Foss Road to commemorate Ms. Foss’s effort. PROFILE CURRICULUM CO-CURRICULAR

Miss Foss’s Achievements HISTORY Students’ boarding house – boarders were Chinese, Ceylonese, Dutch, and English girls. 2-storey block, comprises 3 classrooms and a science lab on the ground floor and a hall on the first floor The block was officiated by Sir Shenton Thomas, Governor of Straits Settlement at that time. Major Developments : On 15th March 1955, a primary block was built adjacent to the school and it was officiated by the Raja Muda of Selangor, His Highness the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. In 1958, due to the new Government rulings, the primary and secondary school was separated. Major Developments HISTORY 1990’s Programme on Good Moral Values was introduced in school, resulting in: Increased in both academic and Co-curricular activities the school attained its best SRP examination result in 1991 A 10.24% rise in SPM examination was recorded PROFILE CURRICULUM CO-CURRICULAR

Major Developments 1990’s 1997 saw us being declared as the winner of “Operasi Cerdik II” a competition organised by the Ministry of Education.
