10. Participation of employment services in the social protection
employment benefit
to obtain an unemployment benefit in Poland must be a work period for at least 365 days in total during the 18 months preceding the day of registration and income earned during that period equal to at least the minimum pay
period of unemployment benefit:
6 months (basic)
12 months – for unemployed who resides in the territory of the district, if the unemployment rate in that territory exceeded 150 % of the average nationwide unemployment rate or
12 months – for unemployed who is over 50 years old with a record of at least 20 years of work period
