International Baccalaureate Mathematics Standard Level 2 (Calculus) -
the 2nd year of International Diploma Programme
Sequenced after successful completion of IB Math SL 1 (PreCalculus-Statistics) course
Recognized by colleges on the level of AP courses

5. Specifics of the Course
It is concentrated on exploration of concepts of differential and integral calculus.
Previously learned concepts will be reviewed:
Linear, quadratics, inverse, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic (analytic and graphic approaches); sequences and series
All trigonometric functions (analytic and graphic approaches)
Vectors - 2D, 3D, applications
Statistics and probability
Course includes an Exploration Paper on the topic of one’s choice (Internal Assessment) and two IB Assessment papers (External Assessment).
