One recent 3,5×4,5 cm passport style photograph-head and shoulders, face forward, neutral expression, in color and with plain/white background. The applicant must not wear glasses in the photo unless the photo in the original passport includes glasses.
 Health Insurance*
In order to successfully obtain a visa to the Russian Federation, the applicant must provide a confirmation letter of health insurance the must have the following information:
Validity of the insurance (dates)
Policy number
Personal information of the insured person (name, surname, date of birth, etc.)
Contact details of the insurance company
Оverview of medical services including medical transport and repatriation
The territorial validity should include the Russian Federation
The minimum limit of responsibility of the medical insurance is Euro
Name, Surname, signature of the insurer and the stamp of the insurance company.
The insurance policy should be valid for one person only, except in the following cases:1) close relatives of the insured person, who are travelling with him/her to the Russian Federation; 2) in case when one applies for a tourist visa in a group.

Swiss permanent residence permit which is valid for more than 90 days and is required from the nationals of the following countries: Albania, Bahrain, Venezuela, Haiti, Egypt, Ireland, Lesotho, Libya, Macedonia, Mali, Mexico, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, Japan.
Swiss unlimited residence permit or other equivalent document are required from the nationals of the following countries: Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Georgia, India, Iraq, Iran, China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ruanda, Syria, Somali, Chad, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia.
