I will find your name on my list I will find your name and try to pronounce it… Easy name, we keep it moving Not so easy I will write my own phonetic version you will be called by your legal name… Do not LAUGH at your friends name!

3 Senior Meeting PARTICIPATION IN GRADUATION EXERCISES
Participation in graduation exercises is a privilege granted by the school. It is not a right possessed by students as a result of their having met the graduation requirements set out in School Board policy and the laws of the State of Florida. Students participating in high school graduation ceremonies shall have completed all credit requirements for graduation by the end of the senior academic year in which they are graduated, and must comply with the standards for participation established by the building principal. The building principal shall have the authority to establish standards for participation including a dress code for the event, requirements regarding participation in graduation practice, and other reasonable requirements. Students who are not in attendance at school due to suspension, other disciplinary action or commission of an offense leading to a referral for expulsion which is still in process, may be prohibited from attending graduation ceremonies.

4 Senior Meeting Graduation Dress Code
Males – white dress shirt, black pants, black shoes, dark or school colored tie Regular tie or bow tie – It does not matter to me! Ladies – Black dress (dress should go to mid thigh & not hang below hemline of graduation gown), black shoes or dress sandals (shoes should not be more have more than a 2-inch heel) & small earrings (2-inches or smaller is acceptable).

5 Senior Meeting Caps CANNOT be decorated
Cords and Other Honors Designations SDD, NHS, Rho Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta, Tri M, Quill and Scroll Suma, Magna, Cum Laude – to be given out at rehearsal Valedictorian and Salutatorian – to be given out at rehearsal Sr. Class President Academy Medallion – AoF and STEM JROTC, Culinary, FFA, Athletics FHSAA Medals Daytona Beach Medallions of Excellence

6 Senior Meeting Baccalaureate – May 11, 7:00p-8:30p (arrive at 6:30p)
Sponsored and Hosted by Volusia County Baptist Church Graduation Dress is required Final Exams – May 13, 16, 17, 18 10% of Q4 grade Senior Awards – May 18, 6:30p-9:00p (arrive at 6:00p, Cafeteria) Located in the gymnasium

7 Senior Meeting Senior Breakfast and Countdown – May 20, 8:30a-11:30a
Gymnasium You will be released after balloon drop… you MUST leave campus Senior Grades – 12:00p Final Grades come out of the computer at 12:00p If you do not make it, you will receive a phone call from you counselor after 4:30p

8 Senior Meeting Graduation Rehearsal – May 26, 10:30a (arrive at 9:45a)
Daytona Beach Ocean Center School appropriate dress required FREE in the South Parking Lot If you park in the parking garage, you will have to pay Do Not Attend, You will not walk

9 Senior Meeting Graduation Ceremony – May 29, 12:00p (arrive at 10:30a)
Daytona Beach Ocean Center Graduation dress is required Lost tassels will cost $5 No purses or bags No air horns, beach balls, etc Phones in pockets and silenced during ceremony

10 Senior Meeting Name Cards Your name card is not for you, it is for me
Do not fold, roll, mistreat, or lose I will write my own phonics on your card

11 Senior Meeting Graduation Tickets
9 reserved in your name, $3 per ticket May 5-20 May 23 – first come, first serve All remaining tickets will be taken to the Ocean Center on May 26 After that they must be purchased at the Ocean Center on May 29 Parking $5 May 5-26 One pass per car
