3 The aim of the work is to show the main features of English humor.
The tasks: 1) to examine and analyze the phenomenon of «humour»; 2) analyze the notion of «joke»; 3) to study the ways of expressing English humour; 4) conduct a questionnaire among students; 5) to consider the reasons for misunderstanding of English humour;
