This week we will be reading the text Dogs. With this text we will be focusing on the author’s purpose.
Next week we will be reading the text Diary of a Spider. With this text we will be focusing on cause and effect.
This week we will have our first math test. We will also be starting a new module where we will begin exploring the ruler. We will working on measuring and estimating the lengths of different objects.
The following week we will continue working with the ruler and compare the lengths of different objects.

Homework
Please have your child read minutes every night. Your child will also be bringing home math homework pages. These are extra practice and are not required to be turned in. If your child completes them and brings them back I will look over them.
