Far from an exhaustive list, we introduce to some recent developments for new device types, processes, functionalities through some examples deployed in LINAC4, NA62, HIE-ISOLDE, LHC and its injectors. The purpose is to have a first answer to the user question: “Oh, first time I see that in PVSS, what is it?”.
