And in photosynthesis they make their own food.

And it also a process where green plant make their own food.

Green plant is the only kind organism in the earth which are able to make own food in the presence of sunlight .
Therefore , green plant is also known as a food producer.
Other organisms that depend directly or indirectly on the green plants for energy is then known as the consumers.

(Example of carbohydrates are starch and glucose.)
