1 Transfer Process Rev 7/13 Employee driven request for a change in responsibility Employer driven change to an employee’s responsibility Employee completes the transfer request form (#2.119 E) and forwards to their supervisor PD or designee communicates with EIS specifics of the change by electronic PCM E Supervisor completes page 2 of #2.119 E and forwards to the RHS in Outreach to Hire within three days EIS will get approval for information on PCM and communicate to payroll The RHS will request approval from the PD or designee EIS will complete transfer memo 2.250, job description, staffing roster, and orientation checklist (if applicable) and send to new supervisor. Unapproved Approved RHS will contact current supervisor who will inform employee of disposition RHS forwards copy of form 2.119E to hiring manager of vacancy Supervisor will review transfer paperwork with employee and return signed copies to EIS and notify RHS that position is closed Hiring manager will contact qualified employee within one week to set up interview and notify current supervisor of interview date. Interview and disposition should occur within two weeks from the date on form #2.119 E Policy and Procedures for Application and Transfer Hiring (E.1.c – CW, HR) RHS will complete the disposition on form #2.119 E and forwards to EIS via for file. Save in a folder for 6 months Hiring manager or designee, will notify employee’s current supervisor and RHS of disposition If job offer made If job offer not made Hiring manager contacts employee to offer job RHS will complete eligibility and notify hiring manager and EIS of completion and will complete the disposition on 2.119E and forward to EIS for file Hiring manager will notify the employee with reason they weren’t selected Hiring manager will communicate with the EIS to notify payroll of all changes by electronic PCM E or via EIS will get approval for information on PCM and communicate to payroll RHS will complete the disposition on form #2.119 E and forward to EIS for file via . Save in a folder for 6 months EIS will complete transfer memo 2.250, job description, staffing roster, and orientation checklist and send to new supervisor if applicable. Supervisor will review transfer paperwork with employee and return signed copies to EIS
