A broad partnership established a website with organized learning for those interested in a global KM career path.
With the integration of KM into the USG procurement scoring & evaluation, GHKC leads effort to building GLOBAL KM COMPETENCIES through networking, training, and tool development.
Through our collective efforts (advocacy, capacity building, etc.), KM is an EXPECTED, INTEGRATED part of everyone’s job. This is widely practiced, accepted, and INSTITUTIONALIZED across people, organizations, and projects working in global health. In particular, knowledge is being shared within and across countries and learning is available in formats, including current and advanced technologies, which are being easily accessed, understood, digested, and used.
GLOBAL, regional, country chapters that recognize KM as FUNDAMENTAL to global development and have a shared understanding of M&E, communications, and KM using virtual and face-to-face knowledge sharing methods to build CAPACITY of members including local government, USAID Mission learning advisors, civil society, and implementing partners.
Remember that the process of creating a vision together is what makes it powerful.

2. Summary of Visions
KM is embedded within organizations. GHKC is established, networked, replicated WORLDWIDE. GHKC partners with mHealth and ICT4D on one side for data collection/aggregation, and with HIPNET and others for broader dissemination and communication---which feeds KM advocacy. MOHs worldwide have KM budgets and strategies. CHWs have culturally appropriate/contextually appropriate tools, job aids, communication mechanisms. The global health system is remade----universal coverage, using KM so evidence and best practices can benefit everyone.
In a post-KM world,---KM is mainstreamed; shared KM functions, COMPETENCIES, and STANDARDS, are INTEGRATED into program design and measurement frameworks. No more “where do I find?”
