1 Worried about a friend or family member?
Support is now available We are here to help individuals, families and communities in Horsham Rural City, West Wimmera, Hindmarsh, Yarriambiack and Buloke Shires

2 RARE – Rural & Remote Engagement
RARE workers live and work in the communities they serve. RARE addresses risk and vulnerability through prevention and early intervention. A key focus of the program is that workers are fully mobile and can actively engage with the community at existing or new events, via cold-call visits, community education sessions and everyday activities where people congregate.

3 RARE – Rural & Remote Engagement
The program provides a trusted local point of contact, education, linkages and information as well as interim support to individuals on waiting lists. The program gives people an opportunity to speak to a familiar face who can provide information, advice and linkages without the need for a formal intake process. RARE was named a finalist in the 2013 Victorian Health Promotion Awards under the 'Improving Mental Wellbeing Category'.
