1 All About Penguins Physical Characteristics
Their wings are used as paddles. It’s body is made for swimming. A penguin has a large head, short neck, and long body. All adult penguins are dark on the back and white on the front. By Kellie Winkler March 29, 2011

Penguins eat food from the ocean. They eat krill. They eat fish. They eat squid They eat snow to get fresh water. Penguins use sign language to communicate with each other. They take naps in the water. Penguins are birds that cannot fly. Male penguins take care of their chicks. Penguins live on islands and remote continental regions. Different species live in different climates, ranging from tropical islands to Antarctica.
