Penguins are flightless, aquatic birds of the southern hemisphere.
Although penguins are flightless, they are built for streamline swimming.
A group of penguins are not known as a flock, but a rookery.

Penguins can be found on the equator. The Galapagos Islands, located near the equator, is home to the Galapagos penguin. This penguin can survive here because of the cold oceans flowing in.
