2 Bullying in the Workplace
What is bullying in the workplace? This may be considered harassment in the workplace.

3 Objectives Increase awareness of retaliation either from management or staff. Ensure awareness of employees rights concerning bullying/harassment. Provide awareness on the illegal issues retaliation pose to the company and to employees.

4 Organizational Ordinances
These are rules governed by the organization set forth by policy and procedure to ensure the safety and well being of the employee and everyone involved with the establishment.

5 Report Bullying Report bullying to EEOC Human Resource Representative
Compliance Officer Supervisor

How does bullying affect the workplace? What are examples of bullying? How bullying cases are handled? What makes bullying an ethical issue?

8 Bullying Laws Discrimination in the workplace is based upon race, sex, creed, religion, national origin, age, color or disability. It is prevalent during a hostile work environment as it deals with race, sex, religion, national origin, age, color or disability.

9 Chain of Command Questions concerning discrimination, sexual harassment, or hostile work environment should be taken seriously at all times and reported immediately by following organization’s chain of custody Or reporting incident directly to Compliance Officer

10 Conclusion Always report incidents to supervisor as soon as possible.
Always try to prevent volatile situations by walking away and reporting incidents. Never allow incidents to escalate.
