3 Paradox A statement which is “SELF CONTRADICTORY” and “TRUE” at the same time is called a Paradox. OR It is an argument that produces inconsistency with logical or common sense. It is an important part of metaphysical poetry.

5 INTERIOR MONOLOGUE It is a piece of writing expressing one’s inner thoughts. Also known as Inner Voice, Internal Speech or Stream Of Consciousness. It can be dramatic or non dramatic. It may also be an Inner conflict, Self analysis or may be an Imagined dialogue. Basically it is a MIRROR of THOUGHTS.

7 LYric A short narrative poem usually intended to be sung is a LYRIC.
The word LYRIC has been derived from the name of a musical instrument known as LYRE. It is very subjective,melodious, Imaginative & meditative sometimes.. It expresses the emotions of the poet.

8 Examples of different forms of Lyric- Elegy, Ballad, Ode, Sonnet.
Ode to Cheese Ode to be Forgotten This… is Life Elegy:- Arranging flowers by Perz, Nola. I miss you by john smith. When angels cry by Whalen David. The best example of a Lyric is “A SOLITARY REAPER” by WILLIAM WORDWORTH
