We are cordially inviting you to participate in a solo musical performance by Shrikanta Acharya, the most popular Bengali singer of this era. Five famous musician will perform with Shrikanta during the event. Please join us this great event where over 700 audience will participate.

Venue: Midland Avenue Collegiate Institute Auditorium , 720 Midland Avenue
Time: 3 pm to 11pm
All proceeds from this event will fund OBCS’ Pathshala/School of Culture & Heritage program for children, Health & Wellness program for Bengali and immigrants community and settlement and employment programs for newcomers.
This event will be promoted through newspapers, posters, flyers, facebook and OBCS website. It will be a great opportunity for you/your agency to meet various audiences, agencies and businesses.

4. Srikanta Acharya Short Biography- He got formal training in
Srikanto Acharya is a famous and an award wining musician. He writes, composes and sings in Bengali language. He is a successful playback singer who has won many state awards.
music from Dakshinee and learnt tabla from Ustad Ali Ahmed Khan. Many of his private and devotional albums became top sellers of the year. A few of his most popular albums include - Bristi Tomake Dilam, Nodir Chhobi Anki, Ghuri and Jibon Chhobi.
In 2003, he won best playback singer award of Anandalok for the movie, Aamar Bhuvan and Bengal Film Journalists' Association award for the movie, Titli. He has also been awarded with Outstanding Young Person's Award for his achievements in Music awarded by the North Calcutta Junior Chamber.
In 2004, Jibon Chhobi received best Rabindrasangeet Music Award. Three of his albums have won Anandabazar Best Puja Album of the year. His collaboration album, Pather Saathi with Rajeeb Chakraborty was the highest Selling Bengali Album of the year 2003.
