7 GMAS & Standards Considerations:
School effectiveness cannot be determined by one assessment. Georgia is still in the process of adopting and implementing rigorous standards. The Georgia Milestones Assessment System is three-years old. -more resources available -teachers becoming more comfortable with rigorous questioning Standards: Implementation Year: Georgia Standards of Excellence (ELA) Georgia Standards of Excellence (Math) Georgia Standards of Excellence (SST) Georgia Standards of Excellence (SCI)
