2 Learning should be fun Elementary school education should focus on learning through play and exploration. Often times traditional classrooms don’t provide children with a fun learning environment. Technology helps to make learning fun.

3 Statistics 54% of 21st century kids start using mobile devices when they are 5 to 8 years old. 30% of the apps on parents’ mobile are downloaded specially for their children’s usage. 77% of the parents accept that usage of tablet increases children’s learning & creativity. 72% of iTunes top selling apps are designed for pre-schoolers and elementary students.

4 Usage of mobile devices and computers in education
Use of technology is a great way to engage students. Technology helps students to learn based on their learning style. Students can learn from anywhere. It has become easy for teachers to engage students with lesson concepts through animations, presentations, etc., rather than depending on textbooks and boards.

5 Usage of Internet and Social networks in education
Many online tools that connect teachers, students, and parents have been introduced into the classroom to help them collaborate from anywhere at anytime. This can help save time, resources, and energy.

6 Schoolfy It is an educational social networking platform that enables teachers to add their students, parents, and colleagues. Teachers can set homework, send documents, create calendars, and create students assessment.

7 Skill development Technology helps students to develop social skills, research skills, and communication. “The only task of parents and educators is to make children aware of digital citizenship.” The 21st century technology helps educators and parents to make children the perfect digital citizen.

8 Opposition Some people oppose technology in the classroom because they say it reduces physical activity. Nayi Disha creates fun educational computer games that include motion sensing technology. This helps to combat the stereotype that technology eliminates physical activity.

9 Useful Practically every household has at least one piece of technology. Students love to use them already. It has already been proved that technology improves students learning, communication, creativity, and problem solving skills.

10 Types of learning that technology enables
Game-based Project-based Inquiry-based Visual Auditory Kinesthetic

11 my thoughts I think that it is nearly impossible to not integrate technology in the classroom in some way or form. As technology develops it is important for us as educators to stay up to date. We should use technology to help us.
