Water is the greatest greenhouse gas.
Three other greenhouse gasses are Carbon dioxide (CO2) , Methane (CH4), Hydrofluorcarbons (HFC) and Nitrous Oxide N2O.

• Stays in air for 50 years.
- CH4 is produced by raising livestock,
Using natural gas to heat home.
Released through melting permafrost
Released from landfills
• Methane stays in the atmosphere for about
12 years!
• Methane traps about 20 time more heat than
CO2

5. and farming practices add Extra nitrogen
N2O Burning Fossil Fuels
and farming practices add Extra nitrogen
which is turned into nitrous oxide by bacteria.
•Stays in the atmosphere for about 114 years.
• Traps about 298 times more heat than
the same amount of CO2.

An increase in greenhouse gases correlates with an increase in global temperatures.
