2 Congruent Figures Congruent figures have the same size and shape.
They have corresponding sides that are congruent. They have corresponding angles that are congruent. Symbol? Talk about the symbol These trapezoids are congruent.

3 Similar Figures Similar figures have the same shape but not necessarily the same size. They have corresponding angles that are congruent. They have corresponding sides that are proportional.

4 Triangle ACB is congruent to Triangle XZY.

5 Drawing “Quiz” Draw the following: Two congruent irregular hexagons.
