2. Who we are: GOTV with "Voter Information" added Co-chairs:
Heidi Burch (Canada Vice Chair)
Michelle Taube (Denmark Chair)
Our mission statement:
"The Voter Information-Get Out the Vote (VI-GOTV) Committee will reach out to members of Democrats Abroad, other Democratic overseas voters and to all Americans living abroad to foster their right to vote and to urge them to vote for Democrats."

3. Where we are now:
Committee plan and election year calendar created and added to the wiki
First global mailing has been sent
reminding members that they still have to register/request ballots even if they voted in the GPP
Taking over voter information tasks from the 2014 GOTV committee
Acting as liaison to FVAP and state elections officials
Michigan's voter lookup tool is now accessible from outside of the U.S.
California has contacted us for information about how GPP affects state primary voters

4. What we're planning: So far... Voting FAQ on the DA website
Periodic s to update voters re: deadlines and key races (timing coordinated with country committees)
Training and support to CCs (if needed) about voter information and member outreach
Documents to help country committees plan voter registration and phonebanking events
Outreach to other expat organizations to facilitate registration and voting by US citizens living abroad who are not members of DA
In conjunction with Key Races Team, coordination with state parties and specific campaigns to provide opportunities for candidates to reach overseas voters

But, we also realize that many of you have experience already and we're not here to bug you.
