2 Research summary L.e.d banks require more voltage as the number increases The amber yellow l.e.ds required more voltage The solar panel produced more voltage than the hydrogen fuel cell but the motor produced the most voltage

3 Design brief Client: The Town Of McKinney Designer: Hawkins Williams, Seth Bramlige, Brandon Haas Problem Statement: The town of McKinney produces its power by the burning of fossil fuels which are harmful to the environment and produce waste which is released into the air and water. These fossil fuels are also expensive and there is a lack of employment in McKinney which in the end is hurting the economy. Design Statement: Design, model, and test a renewable power generation system to provide power to mckinney for a simulated 24 hour period. Constraints: 1.Only 2 solar panels, 2 hydrogen fuel cells, and 1 student made windmill are allowed for power generation 2. No crank for the windmill 3. System dimensions may not exceed 22 in. by 15 in. by 18 in. 4. L.e.ds must be wired in two individual banks 5. L.E.Ds must be in series and have a 330 Ohm resistor

5 Final Sketch For our final design we decided to use the motor with a wheel attached to generate power to the breadboard which is wired in parallel. We produced up to 5V and 1 amp from the wind turbine.
