What two things caused the Great Schism? What were the names of the two denominations created by the Great Schism? Where were the two churches based? Who do you think was right and why?

6 The Reformation Read “what was the reformation?”
What were the protestants protesting about that led to the split? Who started the reformation? What was the counter reformation? Do you think the protestants were right to split from the Church? Why might some people say that the Jesuits method of reform was better? What problems has the split caused over the years? Do you think that the Church could ever reunite? Complete question 2 on page 61 (write on the sheet)
