2. Mount wutai is located in Wutai County of Xinzhou, and is regarded as the primary one among the four sacred Buddhism Mountains in China. It has five falt-topped peaks. It is also called Qingliang mountain because of its pleasant climate in summer.

10. Mountain wutai is one of the earliest places to build Buddhist temple in China. Since the eastern han years, the ancient temples built with magnificent pagoda and temples. There are 47 temples altogether around the area. Wutai Mountain reflects the Buddhism development of China through its ancient architecture complex and rich Buddhism remains.
