2. KNX NetIP
KNX NetIP is a tunnelling and routing device. It contains KNX net/IP Router (M/IPRT.1) and KNX net/IP Interface (M/IPIF.1)
can be used together with the ETS as a programming interface. The device provides an additional physical address for this purpose which can be used for a tunnelling connection.
can be used as line or backbone coupler and provides a data connection between the upper KNX net/IP line (main line or backbone) and the lower TP KNX bus line (sub line)*

4. NetIP/IP configuration
use DHCP:
its IP will be assigned by the connected router automatically.
do not use DHCP:
set IP address manually, need to set in the same IP segment as the router.

5. IPRT.1/Multicast address
for KNXnet/IP protocol, the telegrams are sent in the default setting as multicast
telegrams to the multicast IP address port 3671.
This address should stay as defined and only changed if it
becomes necessary due to the existing network. If individual multicast address is used, 239 is permanently set for byte1

6. IPRT.1/Settings for coupler
fallback time for manual operation:
Time duration required to exit from 'manual operation'
manual function:
press the 'Prog' button 3 seconds to switch to manual override, activation of special
functions (e.g. transmit all group telegrams), these are helpful during installation,
during run time and for trouble shooting
