Welcome to the Advanced Disposal family! We have selected individuals for our street team that we know can be professional, fun, energetic, and impactful in relaying information to the public. It is YOUR job to help: Promote Advanced Disposal’s 2016 Flag Program by handing out flyers and flag pins to targeted businesses. Encourage businesses to become drop off locations themselves. Feel free to make it your own! Happy 4th of July! We are dropping off American Flag pins for Advanced Disposal’s 2016 Flag Retirement Program. You can retire your worn flags according to the U.S. flag code for no cost. Would you like to become a drop off location? Benefits A written press release for all businesses that participate Increased foot traffic We provide supplies (flyers and a box for flags) We pick up flags Have a great day! Provide business card of person to contact for supplies

6 Flag Program 2016 Quick Facts
It’s free so why not participate? It’s the 2nd annual Advanced Disposal Flag Program The program runs June 1 – September 11 Flags are retired according to the United States Flag Code All Advanced Disposal locations are participating For all service areas including commercial and residential Over 2,500 flags were collected last year Nylon flags can be recycled in to new American flags This program both retires and recycles flags

7 Flag Code Quiz The flag should not be bunched up. It should be folded properly according to the US Flag Code. The flag should not be used for advertising purposes. The flag should not be worn as clothing. It should never be stepped on or touch the ground. The flag should be retired in a dignified manner, preferably burning.
