3 Uni Pathways for RIS Cohort 2015
Please refer to your handbook – we will be sticking to the deadlines outlined at Summer Training. Begin deliver of tutorials in half term two, fist tutorials delivered by Christmas. Pupil SEFs should be completed before the pupils take part in any Uni Pathways activities. Complete final assignments and give feedback by February half term. #RiStraining

4 Uni Pathays for RIS Cohort 2015
Identify pupils for subject attainment activity by March twilight training. Complete subject attainment activity by May half term. Submit impact report to RIS team by Monday 19th June. #RiStraining

5 RIS Cohort 2015 Uni Pathways Subject Attainment December 2016 – consultation with RIS participants on revised Uni Pathways SA. January Development Day – launch of and training for Uni Pathways SA. 19th June 2016 – submit impact report on Uni Pathways SA. #RiStraining

6 RLE Requirements that relate to Uni Pathways: Completion of all Uni Pathways activities, including accurate and full data submission by the deadlines outlined in the participant handbook. #RiStraining

7 2016 Cohort Launch of Uni Pathways with pupils and parents. Complete by December Pupil SEFs should be completed before the launch events. University style tutorials (6 sessions) by Easter holidays 2017. #RiStraining

8 2016 Cohort One to one feedback for each pupil by June half term. Submit pupil grades and impact report to RIS team 19th June 2016. #RiStraining

Time with other participants sharing experiences of teaching is one of the elements of training that is most valued by participants. Our response Build in more time for collaborative learning with other participants. Deliberately develop strategies to build up RIS as a community of practice.

15 Warm up P1 – Talk about a film that you have seen recently. P2 – Listen, but only half pay attention. P3 – Watch the coach, what do you see and hear? 30 seconds talking time. #RiStraining

P1 – Share the experience of being successful. P2 –Coach the person. Mirror back what they say. Ask questions to draw out key learning. P3 – Observe the coach. Feedback 3 things that you saw/heard that were good and one thing they can improve next time. ‘I liked it when…next time try…’
