3. Attendance Only take attendance if you start the day
Attendance -> Enter attendance using grid

4. Attendance
Make sure the term, class, and “show” selected is correct

5. Attendance Class Homeroom have only one except for Maternelle
For Maternelle: always pick-up Homeroom FR&EN as a class

6. Attendance Select attendance taken : Yes every day
Select “Absent” or “Late” for the selected student. Do not select anything if students are on-time
Save always

7. Homework: Create category
Only if you wish to assign homework
Gradebook -> Edit categories

8. Homework: Create category
Add one homework category per class
Category is always your first initial, followed by your last name (J. Linn or V. Boussouf)
Select Marking column and Class
Click New, check “This class is graded…”
Change “Graded” to “No”

9. Homework: Edit Assignments
Gradebook -> Edit assignments

10. Homework: Edit Assignments
Select Marking column, Class, leave Category empty.
Click New, select Due date, Category, enter Name: chronologically 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…
Names must be unique for each class. Pay attention to previously used numbers

11. Homework: Edit Assignments
Enter the Description beginning with the subject/related area of learning
Ex: Reading: finish reading short stories
Select Show Assignment
Attach documents if needed
Save always

12. Announcements Gradebook -> Add class announcements
Select Class and “Show announcements…”
Click New, select dates, enter Name and Announcement. Save always

13. Report Cards: Entering skill ratings
Gradebook -> Enter skill ratings
Select Marking column and class

14. Report Cards: Entering skill ratings
Skills are displayed from left to right
Select a rating by clicking on the drop down menu for that skill (the key for each rating is available on the upper right sub menu)

15. Report Cards: Entering skill ratings
Always fill the box (-- for a non-evaluated skill)
Fill down by selecting the first skill and clicking fill down on the upper right sub menu

16. Report Cards: Entering skill ratings
When clicking on a box, the full skill will appear on the display box
« Grades ready for registrar » is no longer needed
Save always

17. Report Cards: Entering comments
Gradebook -> Enter grades by student
Select Marking column, Class, Student

18. Report Cards: Entering comments
Fill comment
“Comment status” is no longer needed
