3. Risk assessment Operation and Upgrade Activities
Gradual implementation of new format of PPSPS towards Risk Assessment
- focus more on activity description, risk identification and assessment
- avoid redundancy with information mentioned in IMPACT

5. Safety Training Online course Classroom course
Harmonize CERN online safety training courses and improve ATLAS (Level 4A)

Common course for the 4 large experiments drawn up jointly with CMS, LHCb and ALICE

Safety training courses such as work at height often followed more than 5 years ago
Self Rescue Mask (SRM) training course not mandatory to access Toroid and not included in access system for US15

6. Radiation Protection Waste and material management
Control and measurement of material and waste in UX15
Current situation
Addition of bins for waste in trench, modification of cupboards, communication via OPM and section meeting for the different zone
Sorting not always performed properly

Tests performed on sniffer system in collaboration with BE-ICS following identification of not correct connection

System never maintained, locked and foam more than 10 years old

Contact responsible of zone when known, presentation to OPM meeting, removal of material

Toroid cleaning gained 1 day. YETS – SRM training course to be followed by cleaners.
