Draft Recommendation has been prepared and discussed by experts Outputs: - Consider expressed comments and suggestions in the text. - Finalize the draft of Recommendation and submit it for public review.

Initiated project – Single Submission Portal (SSP)
PROJECT LEADERSHIP Project main-leader: Ibrahima DIAGNE Project co-leader: Mr. Kepeng LI Lead Editor: TBD Project Scope The project will look at the potential stakeholders, the services such systems can provide and potential management responsibilities. It will provide guidance on these points and general recommendation for facilitating the implementation of such systems.
8
Single Submission Portal (SSP)
The project proposes to study different forms of Single Submission Portals including: Port Community Systems, Cargo Community Systems, Data Pipelines, e- Commerce Platforms, International Trade Integrated Service Platforms or Interorganizational Operating Information Systems. Finally, this project will propose how such SSP can provide the same or similar trade facilitation mechanisms as a National Single Window. Some countries may want to use such systems as a viable alternative to a National Single Window and rely on such systems as an alternative to their WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement requirements (when a NSW does not yet exist). SSP could also be positive in countries that already have NSW.

next steps agreed Purchase Order Financing Project BRS Fine tuning
BRS Publication and Project Exit Contributing to eGOV Blockchain White Paper Project Financial use case analysis First draft of the White Paper Trade Finance chapter The Finance & Payment domain met on Tuesday and discussed about ongoing project status, next steps and the renaming proposal of the Domain. In this synoptic you can see synthesized all the next steps the will be reached by the year. The purchase order financing project, after the public review, will be finalized by the year and the team will ask the bureau for the project exit. The blockchain project has been the hot topic of this Forum, and of course we hope that our contribution could be incisive. During the F&P meeting wa analysed several and interesting financial use cases, and we discussed about aspects of authentication, privacy and legal framework. Our goal for the project is to deliver a first draft of the Trade Finance Chapter by the year. Last but not least we discussed about a renaming proposal of the domain. I think that we need to rename the Domain, in accordance to the UN/CEFACT mission avoiding possible misunderstanding about of the formal taxonomy of the domain. I believe that a renaming of the domain from Finance and Payment Domain to Finance Domain could link the relevant activities to a specific sector (finance) and not to a specific service (payment) avoiding any possible misunderstanding from terminology point of view with other organization primary involved in the payment services standardization. Finance & Payment Domain renaming Domain renaming proposal: from Finance and Payment Domain to Finance Domain, linking the relevant activities to a specific sector (finance) and not to a specific service (payment)
