3 AFA MISSION To promote aerospace power and a strong national defense
To support the United States Air Force and the Air Force Family To promote aerospace education to the American American people

4 AAS MISSION ...a professional, honorary service organization advocating the support of aerospace power...project the image of the United States Air Force To create a more efficient relationship among Air Force officer candidates...to encourage increased communication with Air Force officers and leaders in national defense, government, and industry.

5 AAS MISSION (cont) To aid in the development of effective Air Force officers...provide more opportunities for officer candidates to exercise leadership, management, organizational, and public relations skills. To further the purpose, traditions, and concepts of the USAF...provide opportunities to participate in campus and community service activities, demonstrating the close relationship between civilian and military institutions.

6 SILVER WINGS MISSION ...professional organization dedicated to creating proactive, knowledgeable, and effective civic leaders through community service and education about national defense. Personal Development of Individual Members, through service to the local community.

Civic Awareness, through exposure to Air Force issues and personnel which creates a personal awareness in the role aerospace power plays in the national defense.
