1 Worship God

2 Worship Reminders Some of the best Bible admonitions are the shortest admonitions (Jn. 14:1; 1 Thess. 5:17) John was a faithful Christian, but he needed a worship reminder: “Worship God” (Rev. 19:10; 22:8-9; compare Acts 10:25-26) Who needs this reminder today?

3 The Secularist / Atheist
A large percentage of the world’s population are unbelievers: secularist, atheist, agnostic, non-religious (14% in 2012) He worships creation (including self) and it leads to gross immorality (Rom. 1:18-32)

4 The Idolater Many world religions are idolatrous (4,200 religions in the world) He worships a false god that is made in his image and it leads to gross immorality (Ex. 32:6-8; Num. 25:1ff; 2 K. 17:16-17; Isa. 44:12-17; Ezek. 8:16; Zeph. 1:5; Acts 17:23; 19:27; Rev. 9:20)

5 The Satanist Various Satanic groups hold devilish beliefs (50 – 100,000 followers) He worships Satan and leads it to gross immorality (Mt. 4:9-10; Lk. 4:7; Jas. 3:15-16; Rev. 13:4, 8, 12, 15; 14:9, 11; 16:2; 19:20; 20:4; see 17:3-6; 18:2-3, 9, 23-24)

6 The Religionist Thousands of religions and denominations exist (1,600 groups in 1900 up to 43,000 in 2012; estimated to be 55,000 by 2025) He worships his man-made tradition and it leads to religious division (Mt. 15:8-9; Mk. 7:7; Jn. 4:21-24; Phil. 3:3)

7 The Mocker Many mock the whole idea of worship
He worships in a mocking way which leads to pride (Mk. 15:19)

8 The Christian Some Christians are weak in their worship which leads to spiritual anemia (1 Cor. 11:30) Some disrupt worship (Psa. 95:6; 96:9) Some corrupt worship (Col. 2:18-23) Some forsake worship (Heb. 10:25)

9 Worship God We need this reminder!
We need to tell others: Worship God (Rev. 14:6-7)
