All that needs energy. Traffic, heating, or eletricity almost everything needs energy. We use gasoline and diesel to drive. We most of our heaters use oil or gas for heating. We produce most of our electricity with coal-, atomic- and gas power stations. Germany consumes 105,7 million tons of oil per year. Germany consumes 95,9 billion m³ of oil per year.

We import about 90 million tons of oil per year. We import 97,9 billion m³ of gas.
