2 Learning Objective: Daily practice of basic watercolor techniques on student created water color worksheet. How to create contour line drawings. Apply basic water color techniques to a contour line drawing self-portrait. Create a liquid like atmosphere in your portrait.

3 Classwork: Stained glass window drawing (solid wash :45-4:40)

4 Classwork: Trees (wet on wet 1:40-4:26)

5 Classwork: Abstract with Resist (texture)

6 Classwork: Primitive animals with fat bodies and attenuated legs (blooms and drips).

7 Classwork: Contour line drawing with water color highlights (glazing)

8 Final Project: Water self portrait

9 Final Project: Write out a memory of a time you were out in a rainstorm and use as inspiration for a self portrait. Use 3 water color techniques in self portrait showing you in a scene involving rain or water.
