2 Define the Problem With the increase of technology in the last decade, social media has taken off and become extremely popular. Social media: forms of electronic communication (as Web sites for social networking and microblogging) through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (as videos).

3 Among the social media user, teens are the largest group.
22% of teens log onto their favorite social media sites more than 10 times a day.

4 Consequences anxiety, peer pressure, bullying, low self-esteem, depression and even suicide. Teens often feel like they can’t escape these feelings. Click button below for link to video

5 Causes The biggest cause of problems from social media is an overall lack of education.

6 Solutions Education! Teens should be educated in their technology classes and teachers should be required to take classes on social media. Parents should be talking with their teens about how to properly use social media.

7 New Skills I learned what a Slide Master is Slide 2: Slide 4: Slide 5:
I changed the title to be vertical instead of horizontal. Slide 4: I added a button for a link. and shapes. Slide 5: I added animation so the picture moves when I press the next slide.
