2 Surgeon Skull base surgery and Idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis
The history behind skull base surgery is the first operation occurred on March 19, 2009 and the patients name was Susan Daily The history behind Idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis is In 1976 the first surgery was performed on a patient Why a skull base surgery would be performed because of any type of a skull injury, illness, or disease and if the surgery is not performed it may cause tumors, blood clots, and bone flaps Why a Idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis would be performed is if the patient is experiencing joint pain mostly in the middle of the back and if the surgery is not performed the patient the pain will worsen

3 General physician The skeleton helps give shape and protect the body. It also give the body the ability to move. TISSUE: A group of similar cells that perform a common function. ORGAN: A collection of tissues that carry out a specialization function of the body. HOMEOSTASIS : The maintenance of a constant internal state in a changing environment. What’s interesting about the body system is, the muscular system works with skeletal system by making it move and giving it strength

4 Epidemiologist Arthritis
Arthritis goes back as far as 4500 BC. It is one of the oldest diseases in the world. Other names for arthritis is polyarthritis but is most commonly said as arthritis. The discovery of arthritis was 4500 BC. Symptoms of arthritis are pain, stiffness, tenderness, and inflammation in the joints. It effects you by pain in your joints and fatigue. Organs effected by arthritis are eyes, skin, blood vessels, lungs and heart. Arthritis is physically limiting due to joint pain There are cures for the pain but not for the disease

5 Epidemiologist Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis goes all the way back to 4,000 years ago. Alternative names are thin bone, and low bone density. Symptom's are compression fractures and loss of height. It effects you by hunching over. It can effect other organs by weakening our bones which means our body organs aren't in the right place. It can be life threatening if the bones get to thin and a bone fractured and could get to permanent disability. Yes it is physically limiting because you are hunched over and it thins your bones. One treatment is forteo and it helps increase bone mass, and bone strength.

6 Internist Cells make tissues, tissues make organs, and organs make organ systems. They all do a portion in how the body works. They serve the cells need for oxygen when the cardiovascular system transfers oxygen throughout the body. The organs gather glucose and oxygen and there combination make energy and food. Tissues, organs, organ systems remove waste by blood flow. The blood flow releases nutrients and oxygen and the blood flow removes toxins and carbon dioxide Doctors that deal with this are Neurologist, Rheumatologists, chiropractor, physical therapist, and Orthopedic surgeon. Neurologists recommend surgery. Rheumatologists diagnose diseases Physical therapists examine, and treat patients whose conditions limit their ability to move and function in daily life.
