2 What is eProg? The University-wide progression monitoring system for all PGR students, Supervisors and administrators. Access from ‘My Manchester’ or Personalised area of the eProg system that enables you to manage your progression

7 My Progression Progression is broken down into milestones.
Each milestone has a deadline and a completion status – red, amber and green On-line forms are listed below the milestones, alerts notify you of milestone deadlines Additional meetings can be added

8 My Progression Form Read form carefully before completing.
Save and notify supervisor - NB Supervisor submits forms, once submitted forms are read only Forms can only be authorised once the form has been submitted (enter username and password)

9 Annual Reviews Copy the form into a Word document to keep a back-up copy. Upload work for consideration at your annual review by your review panel. A copy will be saved in your document store.

10 Annual Reviews Do not use ‘double extensions’ when uploading documents into eProg, for example: MyFilename.doc.pdf, MyFilename.docx.doc Do not use multiple dots within filenames, for example: MyFilename pdf A number of special characters should be avoided, these include: \ / : * ? " < > |

11 Annual Reviews When the Annual Review has been completed and all parties agree the content, the Supervisor submits the form. Authorisations can then be added. The milestone becomes green once all compulsory authorisations are complete.

Forms specific to submission of thesis Notice of submission appears 6 months before end date must be completed and submitted 6 weeks before your expected end date

Lists registered, attended and forthcoming training & development events Add additional training and external courses & export to create list for your CV

16 Training Catalogue Dedicated link on eProg - search using ‘search term’ field View calendar of events Click on ‘apply’ to reserve a place
