Course Contents:
1. Complex Analysis: Complex Plane - Analytic Functions - Complex Integration - Bilinear Transformation - Value distribution theory.
 2. Fourier Analysis: Fourier Coefficients - Sine and Cosine series - Half range series - Convergence - Fourier Integral - Applications
 3. Special Functions: Beta and Gamma Functions - Hypergeometric Functions - Hermite, Laguerre and Jacobi Orthogonal Polynomials
 4. Outline of Mathematical Software: Outline related to the above topics in Mathematica software will be provided.

Selection will be made through a short listing criteria. Preference will be given to Faculty from other TEQIP-II Institutions.
Travel Expenses: To be borne by the respective TEQIP Institution for the participant(s) of TEQIP Institutions. No Travel Expenses will be given to non-TEQIP participants.
Other Expenses: Accommodation and Boarding for TEQIP participants will be provided by IIT-R. For other participants, Accommodation and Boarding may be provided on payment basis, subject to availability.
Registration Fee: NIL for Faculty from TEQIP Institutions. Rs for others including IIT Roorkee students/ Research Scholars.
Mode of Application: Enclosed application form should be filled, duly signed by the authority of the participant's Institution. The same shall be sent by post to the Coordinator with the scanned copy by latest by February 23, 2017.
