The cooler air from the sea moves towards the land during the day . This breeze is called sea breeze

The warm air over the sea rises so, the pressure over the sea lowers than the pressure over the land , therefore, blows out towards the sea
This is known as land breeze

An anemometer is used to measure the speed of wind ,it consists of three or four cups attached to a rotating shaft
